This page has not yet been written, though the "more information" link to the right works and provides access to a vast array of information on many aspects of the broadening of the sense of community. 

Our intent with this page (and subsidiary pages) is to support scholars and practitioners who seek to advance understanding of governance-related problems and develop and test new approaches for improving governance.  The portal will provide an overview of current research on broadening the sense of community, as well as a listing areas in which new research is particularly needed.  The portal will also provide information about individuals and institutions that are doing particularly innovative and important work. 

We hope that those in the academic and practitioner communities seeking to develop new ideas will find our identification of frontier-of-the-field challenges and research opportunities especially useful.   Even more valuable, however, will be the opportunity to participate in the refinement of the Commons’ research agenda, connect with others working in the field, and publish through the Commons.  Please send us information about your current research or innovative interventions related to broadening the sense of community, as well as areas that you feel are in need of new research or innovation.  We also appreciate information about key people and organizations working in this area.  For the moment send these to us with the "contact us" form at the bottom.  Soon we will be implementing a full range of participation options that will enable participant engagement with us and each other in a wide variety of ways.
